Dr. Ricardo Cabrera

Physical Therapist

Dr. Ricardo “Ricky” Cabrera is a physical therapist with a passion for strength, performance, and helping others reach their full potential. His own history of sports injuries sparked an early familiarity with rehabilitation and instilled in him a drive to continually improve both physically and mentally. He is dedicated to helping people move better, recover stronger, and unlock their full potential.

Ricky’s path through healthcare has been both diverse and purposeful. He first earned a degree in Radiography, gaining a strong foundation in the anatomy and structure of the human body. He then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration, expanding his knowledge of healthcare systems and management. Ultimately, he pursued his true calling in patient care, completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Miami, where he gained experience in assisting with football camps and baseball pre-season performance testing.

This breadth of experience—from medical imaging to healthcare administration, and now advanced clinical care—shapes Ricky’s holistic approach to rehabilitation and performance. From youth athletes and weekend warriors to post-operative patients and elite professionals in collegiate sports and the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and UFC—Ricky’s experience spans every level of performance and recovery.

Currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and an Orthopedic Residency trainee with Duke University, he brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and performance training to his work.
